"Russo-Balt" is a brand of a Russian car manufactured at the Russo-Baltic Wagon Factory, which first specialized in the production of carriages, then produced trams, cars and airplanes. Cars of this brand were known all over the world thanks to their victories in prestigious competitions. Several copies were bought by members of the tsar family, and two cars were purchased directly by the court of His Imperial Majesty

"Ilya Muromets" is the general name for several series of four-engine solid-wood biplanes manufactured by the aviation department of the Russo-Baltic Wagon Factory during 1913-1918. The aircraft was developed under the leadership of I. I. Sikorsky, who later became the most famous aircraft designer. "Ilya Muromets" - the world's first serial multi-engine bomber and the world's first passenger aircraft. A number of records were set on it for carrying capacity, number of passengers, time and maximum flight altitude.

In 1915, the M-1 aircraft engine (RBVZ-6) was designed at the Russian-Baltic Wagon Factory under the leadership of engineer V. V. Kireev. RBVZ-6 was a six-cylinder, two-stroke, water-cooled engine. It was installed on the "Ilya Muromets" aircraft of the most massive series "V" and "G".

Brand history

In 2006, the Russian-German group A: Level presented the concept Russo-Baltique Impression. The car was successfully demonstrated in Europe at the 2006 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este competition and at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. In 2011, at the international industrial fair in Hanover, Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel got acquainted with the car.
